Dear Visa Officer
My name is xxx residing in India at xxx. My Passport number is xxx and D.O.B is xxx. I am applying for Visitor Visa for myself and my spouse to attend our niece’s wedding in Canada. My spouse xxx bearing Passport number xxx and D.O.B xxx will be accompanying me and travelling to Canada for the wedding. My niece xx currently resides in Canada at xxx and her D.O.B is xxx and currently employed as Level 3 Childcare specialist.
My purpose of visit is to attend wedding of my niece xxxx, and me and my spouse wish to be present in Canada for her wedding ceremony to shower our blessings. We are deeply elated that our niece xxx is getting married and has invited us to be present in Canada to attend her wedding.
We intend to stay in Canada for 10 days from xx April 2023 to xx April 2023. My niece’s wedding has been decided for xxx, as mentioned in the wedding invitation and I wish to reach Canada on xx April 2023, approximately one week back to help with the wedding preparations and attending to all family affairs. I will leave on xx April 2023 and do not wish to overstay in any case, pertaining to my family and professional commitments in my home country.
I am currently employed as xxx with xxx, a Multi-national NBFC in India. My work experience spans 25 years from xx to Present in IT and Banking Industry. My spouse is a homemaker and we both are currently based in xxx, India. We have two children, a daughter and a son, both of whom are pursuing their education, and dependent on me for financial support. My current residence address is xxx and my permanent address is xxxx.
I have been to multiple countries in the past many years for tourism or work projects. I hold B-1/B-2 visa for the United States of America (Visa Number: xxx, valid till xxx) and I have travelled to Japan, Europe-Switzerland, USA, Philippines, UAE, Maldives.
I have presented funds that I believe are optimal to finance this short trip to Canada with my spouse. The attached are personal bank statements, credit card statements, ITR returns and property documents. The total funds available for this trip are $CAD 20,000. All the expenses pertaining to Two-way flight tickets, food and accommodation will be borne by me. We will be staying at our niece’s house located in Canada at xxx for the wedding.
