Mark holds the permanent position of CAD/CAM programmer (NOC 2233). His duties include:
• Design applications using CAD/CAM (computer-assisted drafting, computer-assisted manufacturing) for control of Computer numeric control (CNC) machines.
• Develop and prepare drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts from sketches.
• Collect data and assist in the development of specifications and reports.
• Maintain and develop manufacturing and processing procedures.
• Complete documentation and estimate packages.
• Communicate with project manager and team leader in order to meet designated goals.
Mark earns a base rate of $20.00 per hour, which based on his consistent schedule of 40 hours per week equates to an annual salary of $40,000. Should the need arise; he is eligible to receive overtime.
