Applied spouse sponsorship
Apllication got refusad in Aug 2010
Appeal allowed in Jan 2014
Documents and medical chekups requested from ottawa office in Aug 2014
Douments and medical checkup posted in Sep 2014
No response after that from CPC-Ottawa
Some one please advice me how long more my case would be in process. Thanks
Why were you refused back in the days?
our application first was refused due to no providing the marriage certificate. Then we provided and appealed.
Absence of Marriage certificate does not reject the case :O But it is returned with incomplete status. I wonder why they rejected just on this small issue.
Anyways check your ecas and do not worry your case is on final stage now. Soon you will get good news in form of PPR.

Applying to sponsor a spouse through marriage and not providing proof of the marriage is a big deal. It is the main proof of relationship. That's not a small issue.
But, like said above, I would think you will hear about the final decision soon. They can be slow to check the medical redo, and with the holidays, more people take time off, but things should be processed shortly. Good luck!

Yes I agree but I have read many cases from Pakistan where Nikah nama (Marriage certificate) is asked later by CIC and they provided (As they provided something else on the name of Nikah Nama). Few are sitting in CA. So I believe marriage certificate was not the only reason
