Hi
Changing employers will have no effect on your application. You don't even need to tell CIC.
If you got a new employer after the date you signed the sponsor's form, it shouldn't be a problem, and you shouldn't need to contact CIC and advise them of you having a new job.
I made a mistake too, I forgot to mention in my employment history that I worked at another job. I still got my sponsor approval, but it was delayed by about 10 days, I don't know if the reason for the delay was because of my mistake, or because CIC had a huge surge of applications during the March-May time period, I'm betting it was the latter. CIC has full access to your employment records anyway through your SIN.
