You either need to leave Nigeria and apply to the UNHCR and receive refugee status. They will then work with countries to relocate you at some point. Alternately, you would have to apply for a TRV to come to Canada.
Given you husband is a police officer, it would be assumed he was aware of the risks involved, so I doubt it would provide adequate grounds for asylum. It’s a criminal matter, not persecution.
Second that, more than likely this isn't the first time that someones cover has been blown, I am sure the police department should have contingency plans for situations such as this, or the Federal Ministry of Justice, why wouldn't you move out of Nigeria, to a another country in Africa for the time being if your life is in danger. Canada is on the other side of the world
