How to renew Temporary Resident Visa staying inside the Canada?? I need to go to my country for a week for emergency purpose and my work permit valid for another 3 months. Will I be able to renew Temporary Resident Visa ??

hai, yes you have to send TRV application to any canada consulate in USA with your copy of work permit as well as other required docs. u can get TRV same period as work permit. processing time 2 to 5 weeks.

My work permit is valid till Nov 5th, which is like 3 months from now. Will that be an issue? Does work permit has be valid for more than 6 months?

Although I am in the process of renewing the visa through LMO basic from my company.

Please help.

Hi Chintuu,

As long as the work permit when you come back is not expired, you'll be fine.
