I am landed since 1996, until 2005, I applied my first PR card, and renewed it on 2009.
My PR card will be expire on March 2014, I never live in Canada,just keep report and paying tax with my own company to Canada government.
I plan to move back on 2013, am I have trouble to renew my PR card again? in case I fail to renew, they will ask me to leave immediately?? :-[
In order to renew, you must have lived in Canada for 730 days in the past 5 years. If you have not, then you can stay in Canada, let your PR card expire and wait until you have 2 years, then apply to renew. They will only look at the past 5 years before you apply.
