Hello,

I just got my IELTS result and qualify for EE with CRS of around 450. ECA also done.

I also have a funded MSc offer for this Fall term and can't decide if I should apply for Study Permit or just go with EE. If its the latter, will I be able to finalize everything and get ny PR before I leave or not. Bear in mind that I have a family.

I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.

If I were you, I will go with EE. If I really wanted to go for MSc, I'll defer it for next semester. Going there with a PR is better as there are a lot of restrictions on Study permit. But then again, that is just my opinion and I am single. So that kind of affects my decision.

I'd also be happy if they let me defer it for a semester. But it doesn't look like a possible option.

Anyway, thank you for your input. I really don't know how to proceed...

May be this will help you:

Get study permit and apply PR simultaneously. Start your study once you get the permit. Come to Canada alone as a student. Bring your family after you have PR. It will take up to 6 months to get PR for FSW candidates.

If you have more money, take your family with you.
