Hi,
My mother is applying for a tourist visa to Canada. She has friends, as well as her own sister, i.e. my aunt in Calgary. However, she isn't asking for a Letter of Invitation from her sister, because they haven't been too welcoming nor helpful in the past. She is planning to take the letter of invitation from her friend. Will this be a point of suspicion for the visa officer, since she has to declare all family members, including her sister in the family information form?
