CIC in letter says do not do anything until u are asked to avoid further delays.
In addition upfront medical will not speed up the process
It is like paying RPRF, CIC opens a tab for you to upload receipt.
Doing upfront is just more difficult. It is not like all the clinics are lined up to the roof
Good luck
Anton

Any reason to do upfront medical?
PNP non-express entry pay RPRF first

You did the wrong type of upfront. it should be:
IME: NON-EDE
Type: WORKER.
I did that for my Paper based PR and they showed passed next day after AOR.

If you have a spouse and dependent under 14, is it the same IME and TYPE for both?

Medical procedure is same for each category.
Family class doesn't have different type of test than the worker ...lol
So don't worry...as long as CIC connects your medical file to your PR file...it's all good.
You can request CIC to add your medical file to your PR file if they haven't done so yet.
Good Luck!
and Chill there is nothing to worry...You can request file notes online to check if CIC has received your medical.

Yesterday I did upfront medical. I talked to the doctor this morning and he changed it to (IME: non- EDE and type : Worker) and gave me new upfront medical printout notification . They told me they still didn't send the results to IRCC .
I hope this work
I have question: How can I request CIC to add your medical file to your PR file ??

You can use this form only if you are living in Canada and applied inside Canada.
Fill out all of your details and attach the upfront medical tracking sheet.
Ask them if they can add it to your PR file.
or
You can directly email to the NS intake office - check your AOR (their email address should be there if you have received an AOR).
OK. You do not worry although you medical exam type is not correct.
Upfront medical exam is just need for Express Entry.
You submitted your application by paper system. CIC will process you application about 15 months then they will ask your medical exam. In addition, your medical exam is just valid in only one year.
Good luck to your application !
