Someone help please!

I got invited under FSW.

In the family information section of my express entry profile, I had incorrectly answered “how many family members do you have”. I answered 1, when it should have been 2 to include my non-accompanying spouse.

But I had declared more funds than the minimum for 2 people.

Is it alright to update this number from 1 to 2 post-ITA and write a letter of explanation? I recalculated my FSW score and CRS, it doesn’t affect it.
