I am applying under CEC and I have 1 year Canadian work experience (so I am eligible) and 3 year foreign work experience at 4 different jobs (none is 1 continuous year). Can I get points for the foreign work experience? OR does it have to be 1 continuous year?

Are you sure about that? I thought the continuity requirement is only for the FSW program. In this case, I basically cannot claim ANY of the prior work experience? seems odd.

Have you set up your EE profile. CEC is Canadian experience. FSW is foreign experience. To count foreign experience, you need to be eligible for FSW. Once you add your foreign experience to your EE profile, it will tell you if your work experience is eligible or not.

What if the candidate has one year continuous work experience in Canada ?
that qualifies him as FSW too right since FSW one year continuous experience is in either Canada or abroad then they could add non continuous foreign experience right?
