Please help! My study permit is 3 months 5 days past expiry date.

Please help, I am so scared. My study permit has been 3 months and 5 days past the expiry date (so the 90 days grace period is over) and I am not sure what to do. My original study permit was for my English study at George Brown college from Nov 2010 to Nov 2011 but I dropped out of school in March of last year as I want to focus on just TOEFL. I am currently not in school, but I am wondering if I can reapply for a English program in Canada, and use that to extent my study permit?

You mean to say, THAT you are overstaying ,way past your visa expiry date.. dropped out of course..in pursuit of IELTS!

and IF YOU ARE indeed serious.. MY FRIEND.. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT..I CAN SAY IS..THAT YOU ARE SCREWED....

you are currently staying in Canada as an illegal alien... The moment..the immigration authorities notice your case..you will be deported back to China, with a probability of never getting Canadian visa again.. I mean it's a serious issue. You should have immediately informed immigration authorities about your change of plans. Now, it's too late.

Saying this, you have two choices...
1. Immediately surrender to immigration authorities truthfully and get deported...
OR
2. Continue to stay illegally in Canada as long as you can and eventually get caught and deported.

It's up-to you...either way... it's not good and you are surely getting deported!

Hi,

1. Absolutely NO.
2. There was a way for 'Restoration of Status' however, it works ONLY IF applying for it with in 90 days of losing your status with the expiry of study permit. Now, simply NO chance exist for you.

You forgot? ??? :-X Seriously, that's your excuse? You better try explaining this to the immigration authorities and say that," I'm a genuine student and with good intentions and actually "FORGOT" to check the visa expiry date!!!!!! And next time I will make sure to check it !!!" LOL 8)

Once you get deported, you can now "FORGET" about coming back to Canada forever!

Your best option is to leave Canada right now on your own and return home. As enfield has explained, there is no chance you can renew your study visa.
