Hi i will move to Canada in December 2017 and i will be studying there for 4 years as my course duration is 4 years I'm really really confused about the declaration card there is section which "DURATION OF STAY" and then it has 3 boxes with days written there
Like this """[ ] [ ] [ ] days"""
My duration is almost 1400 days but the boxes are only three i am really confused what should i write there as there is no option of writing duration in years.
please please help! I've been posting this from past 10 days but no one answered

You sure? What if i leave that space blank and ask help from the officer? Will that be okay asking this to a cbsa or any other thing about my immigration status. Or they'll get angry? Because i have heard they are very strict, i dont want to get in any trouble :O

Well if you are that much worried...Leave the space blank and ask the officer. CBSA officers are quite helpful and I don't think anybody will get angry over these things

If unsure about anything on a form leave it blank and ask the CBSA officer given ultimately it is what the officer enters in the system is what is important not 100 percent just what is on the card .
DO NOT make alterations by adding anything additional as that just confuses matters and if you get an officer having a bad day they might ask you to fill in a new one, although unlikely maybe from the back of the queue.
CBSA just have a job to do but usually although firm are usually pretty helpful when required so don’t stress too much.
