Hi,
My husband is taking the IELTS tomorrow and we have a few doubts.
1. For the speaking test, will they be given a headphone?
2. For the writing test, should they use only pencils or is the use of pen allowed.
Thanks.
hi there,
in speaking there will be no headphones. it will be one-to-one session.
in writing u have to use pencils in whole exam.. all the best for the exam..
i am also writing on 26th june
Thanks for the reply.
What about the listening test? Headphones?
Me and my cousin both took the test.
Today was ok.
Just worried about tomorrow, mostly the writing section. I got to score 16 points from IELTS.
I am wondering will headphones be provided , since i am facing a difficulty of hearing over speaker, to understand the Australian accent.
I have found Australian accent in couple of examples. And i am already crushed with pressure of need to get 7.7in listening ???

For listening...mostly loudspeakers are installed that are good enough to cover whole examination hall. But at some centres, head phones are also used
Ashraf
They provided infra red headphones.
The audibility was quite good.
