I got my aip in early September. I deferred my semester from fall 2020 to spring 2021 and got my updated LOA

Now I have applied for deferral to summer 2021 and professor has accepted but university is taking time processing it.

My question is should I keep ircc in loop by sending them the January LOA?

Not unless your new start date is more than 150 days from your original one.
