I am on a PGWP .....

I got a contract offer for 1 year(Jan 2012-Dec 2012) from a Company A to work for CLIENT B .....with a pay scale of $35/hr...

later I got a same job offer to work for same client in JAN 2013 (CLIENT B) from Company C....with a pay scale of $40.

Obviously, I started working for the employer Company C to CLIENT B from jan 2013 till present with $40/hr.....

So, my question I am working for the same client but different employers... how would I ask my client to mention both employers in the client reference letter

btw my supervisor at client place agreed to give the letter wilt all the info in checklist......

PLEASE ADVISE... thanks

Is this client reference letter a part of the application or it is requested by the CIC at a later stages?

It would be requested in between the process of the application,,, however If possible i would suggest to send it with the application... To avoid any further delays

As per my company policy, they will not provide employer reference letter. For that I am planning to write a cover letter along with other supporting documents. I am not sure how to provide them client reference letter :(

Just like that. Just ask them to state the facts (give start/end dates for each contract).

btw my supervisor at client place agreed to give the letter wilt all the info in checklist......

That is great, you will need it.

one thing you should watch for is that you are not considered as self-employed ... are you incorporated? does Client B issue your T4s or do you issue yourself T4As?

I know many poeple who got rejected becuase they were working as contractors & they were considered as self-employed.

with regards to your reference letter, have the Client B created a letter stating the following:

- how long you have been employed with them?
- what are your main roles & responsbilities?
- what is the title of your role?
- your contracts details for all the clients you worked for summaried in few points, e.g:
Contract 1
From - To (date)
Client name
Pay
Weekly hours

Contract 2
From - To (date)
Client name
Pay
Weekly hours

and then ask your cilents to provide you a reference letter to confirm that you have been working for them thourgh Client B, period, pay, hourly rate, roles etc (make sure you have all the requirments in the CEC Check List defined in your letter).

so in total you will have 3 letters, 1 main letter from the company that hired you 'Cleint B' and 2 reference letters from the companies you worked for ..

hope this helps

i hope jes-ON can confirm is this sounds right
