Please help guys!!

I did my medical in may while my wife completed on October 14 as we got married after my first AOR. We sent our passports along with RPRF on same day but we have heard nothing from visa office. We get msg. as below on my e-cas.

We received your application for permanent residence on October 7, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 7, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on December 15, 2009. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 13, 2010.

After my medical they asked for passports for me and my wife even though my wife never completed her medical and we did as per requested. There after they sent our passports back to renew them and asked to re-submit them again and we did exact what was asked. Again finally they sent our passports back along with my wife's medical and requested to send them again after my wife's medical.

We sent our passports on 15th october after my wife's medical but we heard nothing regarding my wife's medical or never got passports back.

Please guide what to do?

Please send a case specific enquiry and ask CHC on the status ......

Usually how long does it take to send passport back or how long it takes for passport stamping once it reaches there?

Does it reflect anything on my application process as some of consultant advised me not to mail them because it may affect negatively.

Is it true so?

i think there is nothing tricky here and you will get your visa soon. its all part of the process
