Please advise pr without spouse while spouse is on dependent permit

Hi Seniors,
Please advise on this..
I am on an Open work permit in Canada and have completed 1 year of work ex..
Got married last year and Filed for dependent permit for spouse..
My spouse did come to Canada, but has left now
Can I file for my PR without accompanying spouse..
I have got her medicals and police clearance done..

Please advise..

You should get divorced first and apply without your wife if you intend to separate.

Yes,
But than my work permit will expire..
and Legal proceedings will take at least an year..
Cant I just surrender/Cancel her work permit and apply straight away

If you apply for PR now you will have to apply as married. You can apply as non-accompanying for your wife but you can't apply as single. You also can't cancel her work visa.
