I landed on Sep 25 and called CIC on Oct 23 to check my address on file and found it to be wrong. Corrected it immediately. Today when I call them to check the status of the card, they are telling me that I will receive the card only after Dec 5 since the 43 days of processing time will start from Oct 23 and not from Sep 25. This is very weird...Anyone in the similar situation?
The processing time says "43 calendar days (This time applies if you have provided a mailing address)".
So if you change your address, it is possible that they restart the counting process. Although I am not sure. Probably call back and ask another agent?
I called again and now the agent says that the processing time is not impacted with the mailing address change..so weird...I am getting different info...
I relocated from Montreal to Toronto. I want to inform VISA office of new Address and send my wife IELTS result. Do anyone knows, what is the VISA office mailing address? I went to site, but i can only see address of Centralized Intake Office, which is as below:
Centralized Intake Office – Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
P.O. BOX 4000
Sydney, NS B1P 1J3
Canada
"Centralized Intake Office" and "Visa Office", are these a same?

Hi,
I realize this is an old thread but I am in a similar situation. CIC told us on phone today that our address had not been entered !!! Also the agent says that processing time will start again !!!! This is awful.
Can you please advise when you received your PR card ? Did the change of address affect your processing time ? Many thanks.
