I'm in my late 30s and have got admission in a PGD (1 year) at HUMBER. My husband is a govt officer in Pakistan and cannot accompany me but I want to take my 8 yr old kid with me.
I have a property in my name and bank statement is strong, but study gap is 11 years. I want to be a pastry chef and open up a coffee shop in Pak.
Do you think I should take my chances with visa application? Or do you think its a lost cause?

If you have already secured an admission in a course related to wut u wanna do, you have a pretty high chance since you can prove that you have strong ties to pakistan. You might have to explain your study gap tho
