I have received ITA under Federal Skilled Worker category. I received it in a healthcare specific draw.
Now I need to give them Proof of funds roughly around 14,000 CAD.
There are two ways:
1. My Canadian Bank account : Its been 3 months since my account has been active. I have my Scotia-GIC in that account. My sister can send me a "gift deed" of 13,000k CAD to my account from her Line-of-credit but she will have to pay almost 1200 CAD as interest for the 6 month term.

2. My SBI Indian account is still active with my mother as the secondary holder. She can sign an affidavit saying that the money is debt-free for her child to use and she is just a secondary holder for ease of access. Plus, there will be a gift deed here as well.

Is IRCC okay with having parent as a joint account holder?
How do I prove that I have access to my SBI account here in Canada?

Thank you!

Sending a gift deed from a line of credit is not a good idea. This is a perfect example of what IRCC is trying to prevent. Your sister does not have the money to gift to you. If your sister had the cash in a savings account for a long period of time then that would be different but if coming from a line of credit the money isn’t actually available to gift and there would be high chance that the money would be returned to your sister once the POF is confirmed which would defeat the purpose of POF.
