Planning to Move to Canada with Non IT Background

Hello,

I am from India, i am planning to move to Canada, i have around 8 yrs of work experience in Marketing and Brand Communications. My educational background is B.Tech (IT) and MBA, but i do not have work experience in IT field, is there any chance for me to get Visa to work in Canada or do i need to peruse any educational course in Canada

And about my family, my wife is having work ex of 9+ years in IT professional, so how to start the process

Getting a visa to work in Canada will likely be difficult. Employers don't want to go through the expense or the long processing times. Given your qualifications you might qualify for permanent residency and you'd be able to immigrate.

My age is now 30 and will i get PR without having IT work experience ...

What is the procedure to get PR? Could you please explain

ok when it comes to EE (Express entry - see more in this forum about it), your education and your work experience do not have to be related. However your work experience would have to be legitimate (for example you cannot work as a doctor without a proper diploma or certification), But other than that as long as it is skilled work experience you are good to go.
