I submitted my application for the visitors visa yesterday. And in the application I gave the booking reference to the plane tickets i have booked to and from Canada. But I am not sure if I will be given the visa in time for me to visit on the dates I have booked, so should i go ahead and cancel the tickets as I have only 24 hours left to get a full refund for them?

IRCC doesn’t want you to book tickets. Just submit airline itinerary with dates, times and flight numbers. Cancel
Refund your tickets and send a webform that you refunded the tickets and you will rebook once visa is issued.
IRCC never need paid tickets for issuing a visa.
