Hello Experts,
I have confusion about Birth Place in Passport and Birth Certificate
My Passport says:
Birth Place: Gurdaspur
My Birth Certificate says:
Birth Place:
Town: Pathankot, District: Gursdaspur
Shall I get city name added in Passport? or will it work, as District Name is same in both cases?
Thanks in Advance

You can do it either way. Your case is quite straightforward to CIO/CIC as you have full details in your Birth Certificate indicating both town and district in it. In the IMM0008 for I'd prefer to put what is shown in your passport but you may also provide additional explanation on that in your cover letter.
