I have a Work Visa with LMO restrictions to Calgary. My wife has an Open Work Visa and my daughter has a TRV. We already bought our plane tickets which departs from Manila then has a 2-hour layover at Vancouver before the next flight to Calgary. I understand that our Work Permits will be issued at the port of entry which is Vancouver.
Question
How long does it take for the Work Permit to be issued? My concern is if the processing takes a long time then we might miss our connecting flight to Calgary.

We had the same lay over time when we enter Canada 2 years ago.Unfortunately you might miss the connecting flight as there are 3 of you and the visa officer would go thru one by one plus it would also depend on the number of people getting their wp at that's time.Don't worry if you missed it, they would be booking you for the available next flight.For us we were able to make it but we have to run like we are being chased by a lion to the gate.The officer let us in but our luggage did not make it so it's the same we have to wait for the next flight for our luggage.
