why am i asked to send a photocopy of the sponsorship agreement? Am I to keep the original for myself?
 
Yes, you keep the original. :)
 
They ask you to do this because they want you to be aware of what you're signing and agreeing to as a sponsor. It is a contract.
 
I made 3 copies of the agreement (filled in the form on the computer and just printed extra copies). Even though I considered the form I sent in with my app to be a "copy", because the signature was ink they made a copy of it for themselves and sent my signed one back.
 
CIC sent back about sponsor agreement form with sponsorship letter but,they didn't mention anything about that So, what should I do for that?? or they just sent it for us to keep it?? Anyway,we made a mistake we signed in the wrong place ..CIC just mark on it and didn't mention anything about that form.. :( Do they want us to sign it again then sent it back??? it's confusing
 
they send it back to everyone - I think it's a reminder of your responsibilities as a sponsor.

I would imagine that if they wanted you to sign it and return it, they would include more formal instructions about it and it would be more clear.
