Photocopies of passport (colour vs B&W)

Hi all,

I'm sending in my PR renewal application next week and would like to know whether I can send in a black and white copy of my passport. The instruction guide only mentions "clear and legible," but doesn't stipulate it has to be a coloured copy.

Can anyone who's recently renewed their card advise? Thanks in advance!

I don't believe it matters. Personally, I'd send colour.
