PhD Student Visa

Hi everybody ...

I got an admission from a reputable university in Toronto to start PhD studies for 4 years. The admission includes offer of financial support since besides being a student I will be working as RA and TA.

I am worried about not getting approved since I have been living outside my country for more than 6 years and have no ties there besides my country is known as a source of refugees.

I really need your advise how to strengthen my case and overcome such issue.

You'll never know unless you try. Since payment for tuition is not a problem, you just have to impress the visa officer how you'll benefit from getting a Phd in Canada and think of a good reason that you'll leave after you finished your studies.
