PGWP validity

I have received my Letter of Completion on Feb 2 , 2024 but the date on the Letter of Completion is Jan 29, 2024. My Study permits expiry date is April 30, 2024. I have applied my pgwp on April 30, 2024. I want to know whether i have applied pgwp before my study permit became invalid .

Depends on time you applied. IRCC decides the status based on application submission time in UTC.

You have 180 days from date of completion I believe to apply but if you lose status you have to apply for pgwp and restoration of status together.

90 days is if your study permit has expired. 180 days from the day your school issued your final marks.

"If the application was received after midnight UTC on the date of expiry, the applicant does not maintain their status under subsection R183(5)."
"all applications must be submitted before midnight UTC on the date the applicant’s status expires"

22:30 pacific is 05:30 UTC on April 30th. Based on above, you had status at time of application.
