When applying under CEC, your responsibilities under your NOC code will weigh more heavily than your wage. However, CIC may also check if your wage falls within the salary range of your chosen NOC.

There is no 'minimum wage requirement.' However, it IS expected that skilled workers be remunerated within the normal range for their occupation.
