I started my may intake online and finished it, but I received a refusal on August 24th, and I missed my September intake, so I deferred to January intake, and relodged file in embassy on September 14th, and got VISA on September 24th, as I already completed my first semester, will that may semester count in my study, and will may semester grades be eligible for work permit, or do I have to study may intake subjects again?

What does the college/university have to say about it? Did you ask them if the May Term would be counted? Or if you'll be enrolled as a new student in Jan 2023? Did you write the finals for the May 2022 term?

The issue for PGWP is that you are supposed to be a full-time student with no unscheduled breaks. Do you have approved leave from the school for this semester? Is the fall semester a schedule break? If not, you would not be eligible for PGWP at all for your current program. So redoing your May semester would not matter. You need to start a new program in January.
