PGWP paper application extension due to passport expiry

Hello guys,

I have sent in my paper application for PGWP extension due to passport expiry. I got a notification from Canada post today that my paper application has been delivered to IRCC successfully.

Does anyone know how long it will take before I can link my paper application to my online IRCC gkey portal?

Or do I have to call IRCC?

Please tell me how I can keep track of the application.

Did anybody receive work pgwp extended upon passport expiry? I did a paper application. The application was received on July 8,2024.I am unable to link my paper application to online account. Anybody facing similar issue? Pls respond. Thanks

Hi I have applied for the same myself. Linking an application will take some time. My paper application was received on February 6th, but I could only link it in late April.

Hi thanks for the reply. So how can we prove to our employer that we are in implied status? My work permit is expiring on August 11,2024

Has anyone sent your application around Dec 2023 and got approval? It's been 8 months for me and no matter how many web forms or calls i did, still no updates so far.
