PGWP Extension

Hi, I had graduated from University as an international student two years ago. I applied for PGWP after my graduation on 2022,07. Because my passport would be expired on 2024, 07, I only get 2 year PGWP. Now I need to apply for extension. When I was filling the 5710e form, The question 3 got me really confused. Because I just want to restore me status as a PGWP. This is supposed to be an open work permit. After select the third option 'Restore my status', it requires me to select either 'Apply for a work permit with the same employer' or 'Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer'. It is awkward that as a software engineer student, I didn't find a full time job in the last year. I wonder which option fit on me?

I though you are applying for an extension of your PGWP because you think that you should be given a longer valid period according to your study.
You are not "restoring" your status unless you have lost it already.
I don't know how the online forms are filled in now. So I can't answer any details. Just want to point out the terminology.

Thank you so much! I guess I am not supposed to select the 'Restoring' option. I was confused by all three options.
