My Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) is expiring on May 29. I am working right now. Per IRCC's recent announcement, I would not be able to apply to renew my PGWP before mid June when the new policy takes affect. Can I continue to work for the same company after May 29 until I get to apply to renew my WP?

It's not clear at this time. Normally the answer would be no. You would need to convert your status to visitor and stop working.
However IRCC is supposed to announce further information in the next few weeks. Wait for that. Hopefully there will be a path provided that will allow you to continue working.
