PGWP extension and visa extension simulataneously

Hello, I wanted to extend pgwp (i have 1.5 years left, I previously didnt have dates in my passport and now after passport renewal I am eligible to apply again). I also have to extend my visa. Since the processing times are very high now and I have plans of visiting my homeland at the end of this year, can I apply to both pgwp extension and visa extension at the same time? Thanks!

You can apply for both.

However to travel outside of Canada and return to your country, a visa extension isn't going to help you. You need to apply for a new TRV.
