Context: I am a student at a DLI in my fourth year. I did 2 terms of co-op, 1 of which was from September 2023-December 2023. During that term, I also did 1 course alongside. Recently, I dropped co-op because I want to graduate and don't have time to fit in the last co-op term. I am considered full-time in all my winter terms.
How do I ensure that that 1 co-op term where I did 1 course alongside it will not be misunderstood as being a part-time student? Do I just request letters of explanation from my co-op program and my university explaining that I was a full-time student the whole time? Or is "co-op placement work term" on my transcript enough for the visa officer to understand that I was full-time?
Also, does dropping co-op and not getting my co-op designation affect PGWP eligibility? Will the winter term where I was a full-time student on the basis of a co-op work placement be invalidated in the eyes of the visa officer?
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Co-op is considered full-time for immigration purposes and dropping one co-op term won't have any impact on your PGWP, provided you can graduate. Extra course during co-op term is irrelevant and your transcripts are sufficient for this. That said, you can write a LOE yourself to explain this if it bothers you.

Request a formal letter from both your co-op program and university. This letter should clarify:
You were a full-time student during the co-op term.
The co-op term was part of your academic program requirements.
Any coursework taken alongside the co-op.
Thanks for the reply!
So even after dropping the co-op program entirely and graduating without the co-op designation, it won't retroactively invalidate my full-time status in the previously done co-op terms in the eyes of the visa officer?
