Would you know if "mandatory work placement" is accounted in the length of the PGWP that will be issued to you?
Also, is implied status deducted from the length of the PGWP granted or is it a different count?
By mandatory work placement assume you mean that was an integral part of your course so your completion letter was based on course completion graduating at the end or the placement ? If so then it should be taken account when assessing the PGWP validity.
The PGWP validity is based on date of issue not based on the date the application was submitted so time on implied status is not deducted

So I just got my PGWP extended but it seems like the time I was on implied status was deducted from new PGWP. Call IRCC and they said that's meant to happen but it doesn't make sense to me why they would deduct.
Just got mine extended pgwp today and the time I was on implied status was taken off the length my PGWP should have been extended by to complete 3 years. I am so confused and don't know what to do.
Oh my
Shouldnt be the case
just send a webform stating the issue
Or call them on Tuesday
Also just confirm once if your passport is valid for longer than your permit

My passport is valid passed the pgwp supposed duration. I spoke to 2 agents today and they both said time on implied status are always deducted. Crazy thing is I was worried about this a month ago so I called to ask. The agent I spoke to a month ago told me time on implied status are never deducted. So I am so confused right now
I just got to know about the "Credential Completion Letter".
Basically, you get a PGWP depending upon the time of your course written on the Credential Completion Letter.
But I have no idea if the time of the course written on it is based on the time you spent on the course or the actual duration of the course. Very confusing in my case as my course duration is "1 to 2 years" in most universities.
