Hi, I applied for a PGWP paper application back at the end of April just after defending my thesis. I've studied for 2.5yrs here. My problem currently is that my study permit expires at the end of July (30th), which to my understanding it means I have to leave the country by then. However, my application has yet to be reviewed and i'm seeing processing times of 106 days right now. So ideally, I'd have to be here in August, potentially well into September before I get a reply. I just don't know how to proceed right now, should I start packing and get ready to leave at the end of July? I've read something about implied status while waiting on an application to be processed. I've tried calling CIC multiple times but I can't get a hold of an agent for work permits at all. So i'm at my wits end with this.
Anyone have any information whether I should stay longer and wait for the permit or if that's going to cause further issues since I'd be out of status in August.
