I am in a serious situation and I need your help. I did 2 semesters in University of Ottawa in graduate diploma and I am planning to transfer to Masters degree in the same program. However, I took extra course in my diploma so I only need one semester to get the Masters. My question is how will my PGWP be assessed and how long will it be ?
Documents I will have :
- Transcript of 2 semesters of graduate diploma ( without a degree certificate )
- transcript of 1 semester of Masters ( with degree certificate )
So will I be considered as 3 academic semesters PGWP length ?

Since the second program ( Masters ) is originally a 4 semesters program , I will get 3 years PGWP ?. So 3 year PGWP by completing 2 academic semesters (transferred from diploma) and only 1 academic semester (completed in Masters) ?. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Technically, yes. the diploma is 2 semesters program and I can get an official document from the university that the Masters program is a 2 years program. will that help ?
The problem is I read the below
on the CIC website and I feel I will only get 1.5 years.
" Note: If the officer notes that the duration of studies was shorter than the duration of the program, as indicated in the letter confirming the completion of the program of study, and the program was not completed in an accelerated form, the post‑graduation work permit may be issued in accordance with the duration of studies. For example, if the applicant undertook classes for a period of 12 months, not in an accelerated form, but their degree notes that it is a 2‑year degree, the post-graduation work permit may be issued for 12 months, in accordance with the duration of their studies "
