I understand well that students have 90 days to apply for their PGWP post graduation (or notice of). However if a student is graduating (finishing her BA) but intends to continue their studies in a non-degree granting program (supplemental studies) -same DLI- for a year post graduation .....
Is the student subject to the 90 day window (meaning they should apply now)
OR
Is the student able to maintain access to a later PGWP application once her new studies end?

What is not clear to me is the PGWP tied to notice of a completed program (ex a BA, MA) or is it tied to the completion of her studies- ie student status at a DLI?

Any input would be appreciated.

It's tied to the date mentioned on your final transcript/passing letter (not degree/convocation), must not exceed 90 days. You can continue studies in another/same field as long as you are doing it within 90 days.
