hello......bro u can apply for normal 2 year diploma..... my brother and his friend did 4 years b.tech in computer science and applied for 2 years diploma in computer engineering technology and they both got visas for this may batch and are in canada now.u just need to have sufficient funds and gud ielts scores.
dude, i asked about 4 people from this forums, they all said my visa will be rejected.
and we contacted our education consultant person in india, he also said visa will be rejected if i chose 2 year normal diploma course after taking 4 year degree.
ya may be......i was just telling u an example.........rest is upon u.....bcoz if u can get admission in a pg course or masters than u have better chances of visa as well as ur future......
1. A PG diploma has worth less than a master's degree. No matter if they are of same length but master's degree is always preferred. Master's degree are offered by Universities only.
2. IELTS requirements for most universities are 6. You can check a particular universities website for more specific answer.
3. IELTS band can be seen on the university/college website. But I believe it cant be less than 6.
Here is an advise, if you have done 4 years bachelors degree then DON'T go for PG degree or certificate. It will have a negative effect on your case and will most probably get rejection. Secondly, VO's has started delaying visa issuance for college students as compared to university. Master's is always preferred every where.
I can not give you a generic answer, you have to search the IELTS requirements of your college / university. For example the ielts requirement of uAlberta is overall 6.5 with no less than 5. while for university of British columbia it is overall 6.5 with no less than 6. so you have to see it for your particular college/university on their website.

No he does not require GMAT for Masters in Canada. I have got admission in Master's in Engineering (all by myself) and the only requirement was TOEFL/IELTS, Letter of reconsideration from professors, Degree and transcript.
