Hi everyone.
CIC asked for additional documents including my partners personal History and addresses form.
My partner is having trouble filling out the forms, she can not type them. As she doesn't have access to a computer except for printing.
So I'm wondering if I can fill the forms for her and then she sign them.
That would mean the forms are in my writing, scanned and emailed to her and then she signs them in ink.
Is this acceptable or should they be all her her writing?
The sheets were sent in the mail on paper. So when they were scanned to a computer they were scanned as a picture.
So they can not be typed on.
I could make an excel sheet that looks similar but thats what I did the first time because we didn't have enough room
so maybe that's why they're making us do it again...not sure!
So did you use the original forms the first time you filled it out?
Cause I know those forms are typable.
I can't imagine you writing it and sending I to her to sign is that big of a Deal, just as long as the info is correct. Of course don't only go by my advice but personal opinion I think you will be fine.
Legible handwriting in black ink (yours or hers) is fine as long as the signature is hers of course.
We did a mix of typing and handwriting on many of the forms. It was not a problem.
