I'm planning to order personal claim history in advance just in case it is required in future. I will not have to wait then.
I recently submitted my CIC application.
Now as personal claim history is not asked by CIC as yet, what I should fill in the personal claim history form where it asked:
Is this request to support residency for Citizenship and Immigration?
I should tick 'yes' or 'no'
or it doesnt matter in either case?

If you don't use that form and just write a letter, you don't have to answer that question.

I'm not sure but i think either way is okay
We requested the claims history and answered "yes." I really don't know why they ask the question, unless they print the report in a certain way for CIC and a different way if you want it for your own information. Anyway, it's not like the Ontario Health Department and CIC are in contact with each other, so I think you're worrying for no reason. My suggestion is to just say yes.

You mean you ordered history BEFORE CIC requested?

Yes, it's free, so no reason not to have it on hand in case it's ever requested.
