Permanent resident travel document

Do you guys have any idea of sort of processing times for a Permanent resident travel document? I'll be most likely applying to one when I get to Brazil (since I'm still waiting my PR to renew).

Hi I got my pr card under alberta immigration nominee program. I came to canada on may 2011 and came back to my country sept of the same year. I didnt come back to canada since then. Can i still renew my pr card even i didnt make the 2 yrs required time. My pr caed expired last nov 2016.

No you can't. If you came back to Canada and attempted to renew your card, your PR status would most likely be revoked since you don't meet the RO. Most likely you'd be reported at the border anyways by CBSA.

You would need convincing H&C argument to keep your status (like reason you stayed outside Canada so long was serious medical condition of family member requiring your care). Any other reasons for school, work, etc usually will not be accepted.

We applied for my husband from qatar on the 13th of june .. Still no reply and we have booked ticket for 2nd august .
They said it would take 60 days but we disnt submit passport with the application so it might take even longer
