I became permanent resident on Jan 2015, I have stayed 8 months outside Canada in 2016 , 4 months in 2017 till now, which is almost a year outside of Canada. I am just wondering If Canada border officer might create any issue when I reenter in September 2018. I have not done anything during this time just spent time with my wife and kids. My PR card is valid till March 2020.
I would like to get help about this matter.

No issues. You need to live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 rolling years in order to keep PR status. As long as you meet this residency requirement - you're good.
