Permanent Residence Rescheduling Issue

I applied my permanent residency under common in laws relationship in April, 2019. Every process went well until I needed my new passport with changed name. While I was waiting for my new passport to be mailed I got a permanent residence interview in Nov 26th, 2019. I showed up to the local IRCC with my partner and told the responsible officer that I am waiting for my new passport with my name changed. Thus, he suggested me to wait till i get the passport and apply for rescheduling although my permanent residence card is ready. I trusted the office since he works for IRCC and I did everything according to what he told me to. But I haven’t heard anything from IRCC thus I contacted them via webfrom twice. So far all I received is only emails that say my file is transferred to the responsible officer. And this has been a month now.. At this point, my work visa is expired and I feel so urgent and nervous about it. And when I check my application status it only says the decision made and the application processing time will be expired in 10 days...Does anyone have any ideas what I could do ? Or any advise?
