My wife is a Canadian citizen and she is sponsoring me to immigrate to Canada.
We are married for 10 years and live in US and I was wondering what kind a immigration papers will I get.
Do I get Permanent residency once I'm approved to come to Canada or do I get conditional residency.

If I get Permanent residency do I get permanent working papers as well or working papers that I have to renew each year?

Thank you!

Because you have been married 10 years, you will receive an unconditional PR. As a permanent resident, you have the legal right to work and live anywhere in Canada.

If you got your PR Card , you don't need a working paper . You just need SIN

No, it doesn't. Only applications received after the 25th of October by CIC are concerned by the new rule.
