I am From New Zealand and am currently in Canada and have been since December 2019, I have stayed on a visitor visa/ travel record but am currently in the process of getting a work permit through a LMIA, which has been very slow and time consuming, and we have no timeline on when that will be approved.
My boyfriend (who is Canadian) and I have been living together for 3 months and have been dating for a year and he has been supporting me for most of this time while we are waiting for my work permit to be approved. To our shock we have just found out we’re pregnant, and want to know what our options are now immigration wise as it is very important I can stay in the country with him to have the baby.
Any answers would be very helpful! Thank you

He would need to sponsor you for permanent residency if you want to remain in Canada and be able to live here permanently through family sponsorship.
In order for him to sponsor you for PR, you must either be married or common law. Common law means that you have lived together continuously for at least one full year and have evidence to prove that. So right now you would still be at least 9 months away from qualifying for sponsorship as his common law partner. Of course if you get married, he can sponsor you right after that.
If neither of these work for you for some reason, then you would need to look into qualifying for PR on your own through an economic immigration program like Express Entry (based on your level of education, skilled work experience, age, language abilities, funds available to support your settlement, etc.).
