I am submitting my Canadian citizenship application in few weeks. Ideally I would have waited for the application process to finish till I get the passport, but I recently got an offer from US and I have option to move to US on H1B(I do have approved H1b petition and visa stamp already, hence I can start US employment anyday)
This might have been asked before but specific advice I'm looking for are
1> After I submit my citizenship application, and then immediate start my employment in US on H1b does this community have any evidence that it might slowdown the application process?
2> I will still have my immediate family(spouse and kids) in Canada for some reasonable timeframe(3-4ish months), hence I will still be a resident in terms of tax status in Canada even after starting my employment in US, and will come back and forth to Canada(Langley) from Seattle(WA) for 3-4 months. And not sure if this would mean anything for the citizenship application.
3> Long shot: Does anyone know what will happen to my H1b petition after I'm granted my Canadian citizenhip. Would I be able to use my H1b + Canadian passport to re-enter US after I take the oath and get the Canadian passport in hand.
